Materials
  • 1 Sheet of card stock
  • X-ACTO knife or scissors
  • Cutting mat
  • Double-sided tape (high tack)
  • Used CD
  • Fishing line
  • Clock movement
Instructions
  1. Print out the clock face on the card stock. Set aside to dry completely.
  2. Place the cutting mat underneath the clock face. Using the X-ACTO knife, trim the white areas away from the page.
  3. Cut out the gray circle in the center of the clock face for the clock movement to go through.
  4. Unscrew the clock movement components from the shaft, then attach the CD to the front of the clock movement with double-sided tape. (The CD will support your clock face.)
  5. Apply double-sided tape to the front of the CD and place the clock face on top. Make sure the clock face numbers are oriented correctly before pressing in place.
  6. Assemble the clock movement components as directed on the package.
  7. Put in batteries and hang up the clock.
