The HP 9000 rp7410 server reached end of life on Feb 1, 2005. Please consider the rp7420-16 as a replacement product. Accessories will continue to be available until Feb. 1, 2006, and can be viewed in the panel to the left under 'Parts - Options'. This family of UNIX mid-range servers scales from 2 to 8 CPUs, up to 64 GB of memory, redundant and hot-swappable components

Description

The HP rp7410 server allows up to 2 hardware partitions and up to 8 virtual partitions (vPars) to maximize the utilization of computing resources. The PCI link bandwidth for 14 of 15 slots is 530MB/s, and the peak I/O slot bandwidth is 8.5GB/s. The integrated web console simplifies system management. This system is designed for high-availability with redundant power supplies, fans and power line inputs, error checking and correcting on all cpu and memory paths, and independent I/O paths.
