Checking Ink Levels for HP Photosmart C6240, C6250, C6280, C6283, and C6288 All-in-One Printer Series

  • PrintPrint

Introduction

You can use the product control panel to check the ink levels in the cartridges in two ways. First, you can display the ink gauge on the product control panel. You can also use the control panel to print a self-test page, which contains information about the ink levels in the cartridges. This document explains both methods of checking the ink levels from the product control panel.
NOTE:If a refilled or remanufactured cartridge, or a cartridge that has been used in another printer, is installed in the product, the ink gauge is inaccurate or unavailable.
