Checked for drivers used on the system:
cim.383467.txt:                 VersionString = be2net driver 2.102.440.0cim.383467.txt:                   ElementName = be2net drivercim.383467.txt:                 VersionString = be2net device firmware 2.101.462.1VersionString = bnx2x driver 1.62.15.v41.2
So be2net is old version 2.102.440.0 and bnx2x is actual and recommended driver (as of December 2011).
Problem described in the following website:

Solution

  1. For the be2net driver:
Either install 2.104.277.3 or upgrade to 4.1 update 2.
The KB says 2.104.277.3 is sufficient.
The driver can be downloaded from the following website:
Click here to download "VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x Driver CD for Emulex OneConnect 10Gb Ethernet" at: http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/dt_esxi4x_emulex_21042773/ZHcqYnR3JUBiZCVodw.
Please check the following link for recommended and certified FW and VC:
Click here to access the document "HP Flex-10 and Flex-Fabric Supportability" at: http://partnerweb.vmware.com/programs/hcl/ESX_Flex_config.pdf.
So Adapter FW should be 2.104.281.0.
    Virtual Connect FW 3.18.
  2. For the bnx2x driver:
Driver must be 1.62.15.v41 (this is already installed).
    Firmware must be 2.2.8.

NOTE:The above-mentioned URLs will take you to a non-HP Web site. HP does not control and is not responsible for information outside of the HP Web site.
This should fix the issue.
