Electronics

Control panel assembly

The control panel assembly contains the switch elements for the various buttons that comprise the user interface. It is also the primary attachment point for the alpha/numeric display and routes these signals to the main printed circuit assembly (PCA). It is designed to prevent any electrostatic discharge (ESD) from entering the printer.

Power supply

The power supply is an external module. The Direct Current (DC) input jack is located on the back of the unit next to the rear USB outlet.
