International Power Adapters
HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario notebooks sold in the United States and Canada ship with AC adapters which are not designed for use with international power sources. However, there are a variety of adapters available in stores that will allow the notebook AC adapters to function in different countries. Purchase an adapter appropriate for the country's power supply.
The AC adapter that is sold with HP and Compaq notebooks requires the Standard U.S. Power (110v, 60 Hz) and Telephone (RJ-11) Connections.
