Checking Ink Levels

NOTE: If a refilled or remanufactured print cartridge, or a cartridge that has been used in another product, is installed the ink level indicator is inaccurate or unavailable.
  1. Make sure that the product is turned on and connected to the computer.
  2. Click Start and click Control Panel .
  3. Double-click the Printer and Faxes folder.
  4. Right-click the icon for the product and click Preferences .
  5. Click the Services tab, and then click Service this Device .
  6. The printer Toolbox opens. Click the Estimated Ink Level tab.
