Lamp Warning Messages and Lights
This document pertains to the HP vp6300 series digital projectors.
Lamp warning messages and lights
Over time, the lamp will decrease in brightness or may break and require replacing. The HP digital projector records the length of time the lamp is illuminated and will display warning messages about the lamp usage. When the Lamp indicator lights up red or a message appears suggesting it is time to replace the lamp, please install a new lamp or consult your dealer. An old lamp may cause a malfunction in the projector and in some instances the lamp may break.
NOTE:The Lamp indicator light and Temperature warning light will illuminate if the lamp becomes too hot. Turn the power off and let the projector cool for 45 minutes. If the Lamp or Temperature lights still illuminate after turning the power back on, contact HP.
