Notebook or Tablet Stops Responding After Inserting and Removing Firewire Card

The notebook or tablet PC may stop responding or lock-up when the SIIG 1394 2-Port CardBus (Model NN2627 V.20) is inserted and then removed from the PC card slot.

To prevent the notebook or tablet PC from locking-up, use the safe removal icon in the system tray, or turn off the PC before you remove the card.

The SIIG 1394 2-Port CardBus (Model NN2627 V.20) may not completely support the functionality of the PC and HP recommends purchasing a newer card.
