Registration Process Repeats after System Recovery

After recovering your notebook PC, the initial configuration sequence will repeat. This includes setting the date/time/currency, naming your computer, and creating your accounts. You will also be prompted to register online with HP.

The PC is functioning as designed. If you registered your notebook PC during initial setup, you may skip the registration screens.
