Steps for Removing and Replacing the Battery

This document provides instructions for the removal and replacement of the battery for the dv2000 and V3000 series notebook PCs.
Use the video as a guide while following the written instructions below.
To view the video press the Play button on the player control bar below the video.

Step 1 - Remove the battery

  1. Slide the battery release latch to the release position and hold.
  2. Lift and remove the battery.

Step 2 - Replace the battery

  1. Tilt and place the battery into the battery bay until it is properly seated and the locking latch clicks.
