Unable to Share Wireless Internet Connection over Bluetooth in Vista

When two or more notebooks with Vista are connected using Bluetooth and the Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is enabled on one of the notebooks for the wireless network, the other computers will not connect to the Internet using the wireless network.

HP does not recommend setting up one computer with Bluetooth as a host and using it as a gateway through which other computers may connect to the Internet. There are problems due to the low transfer rates.

Bluetooth's strength is synchronizing information transfers between your notebook and wireless devices including cellular phones, printers, cameras, and PDAs. The inability to consistently connect two or more PCs to share the Internet through Bluetooth is a limitation of Microsoft Windows and Bluetooth.
