After clicking OK, another error message appears:
The path 'c:hp\tmp\src\aio\Setup\TrayApp.msi' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to the installation package 'TrayApp.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product TrayApp.
These types of errors happen because installation of a software application has not completed or a software application is attempting to repair itself because a file is missing or a registry entry was removed.
To correct these errors, if you have an installation disc that is associated with the msi file, insert the disc and click OK. If the error persists, you can search for and browse to the file on your hard drive or reinstall the entire software package.
Common msi files and their associated software applications that come with HP and Compaq products:

mydvd.msi

Photogallery.msi

| NOTE: | You should not attempt to replace only the msi file. Instead, you should reinstall the entire software package that is associated with the msi file. That is, if the error is associated with printer or camera software, reinstall the printer or camera software to re-associate all of the links to the files. HP software applications can be downloaded from the Customer Care web site or through an application recovery process if the software originally came with the computer. |
For msi files associated with HP Digital Imaging software (HP Image Zone), insert the installation disc that came from the last HP printer, camera, or scanner that was installed into the top CD/DVD drive. If the disc is not available, you can download the installation software for the HP printer, scanner or camera from HP's Website, uninstall its current version from Add/Remove Programs, and then install the version that was downloaded from the Web.
To help prevent these errors from occuring, make sure that registry cleaning utilities and spyware removal utilities do not remove files and registry entries associated with HP software. Instead, if you want to remove a particular HP software title, properly uninstall it using add/remove programs.
