The following error appears unexpectedly: HPAsset is not working. Search online for a solution. This error is associated with certain older versions of the HPAsset Manager used in the HP Help & Support software.
The problem can be resolved by allowing the HP Health Check to install updated software as follows:
- Connect the PC to the internet.
- Click on the HP Total Care Advisor icon to open the application, and click PC Health to run the HP Health Check utility.Alternately, open Help & Support , select Troubleshooting Tools , and click Health Check to run the HP Health Check utility.
- When prompted to Automatically download the latest critical alerts and recommendations from HP , click OK .
- Follow the prompts to allow HP Health Check to download and install all recommended updates.
You should run the HP Health Check on a regular schedule to keep your PC up-to-date and operating efficiently.
