Set Up Multiple Wireless Printing Profiles

  • PrintPrint

Introduction

The printer includes an 802.11 wireless profile switch so you can store settings for up to three 802.11 computers or networks. This allows you to easily move the printer from home to the office, or between any three wireless network environments.
When you first set up the printer, the profile that is configured is associated with the current switch position. You can modify that profile and set up the two other profiles using the Wireless Configuration Profile Utility on the Starter CD.
Multiple printers can be set up using a USB Flash drive. The Wireless Profile Configuration Utility exports the printer's wireless profile settings to the USB Flash drive. You can then configure other printers with these settings by inserting the Flash drive into another printer's USB host port.
NOTE:The Wireless Profile Configuration Utility is supported on Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.
