Introduction
This document provides instructions on how to clean print cartridges.
Cleaning print cartridges
Follow the steps to clean print cartridges using the HP Solution Center.
  1. Double-click the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon ( ) on the taskbar. The HP Solution Center screen opens.
  2. From the HP Solution Center , click the Settings menu.
  3. Click Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox opens.
  4. Click Clean the Print Cartridges .
  5. Click Clean and then follow the on-screen instructions.
CAUTION: Clean print cartridges only when necessary. Unnecessary cleaning wastes ink and shortens the life of the cartridge.
