After attempting to shut down the computer, a "hpqgpc01.exe
" error message displays.
Solution: Download and install Solution Center Update
HP created a software update to fix this issue. Use the following instructions to download and install the update:
- Right-click this link, Solution Center Update , and then click Open in New Window .
- Click eSupport_hpcom_130_011.exe (the file name).
NOTE:For a step-by-step guide to the download and installtion process, click View directions . - Click Run .The file downloads, and a new window opens.
- Click Run to begin extracting the software.The software installation will start automatically.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
