Upgrading HP Support Assistant does not show Battery Check

This document pertains to HP and Compaq notebook PCs with HP Support Assistant.
The Battery Check option in the Power, Thermal, and Mechanical window does not appear after upgrading the HP Support Assistant.

Restart HP Support Assistant

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps.
  1. Confirm that the notebook is connected to the Internet.
  2. Select Maintain and click Refresh .
  3. Exit HP Support Assistant.
  4. Restart HP Support Assistant
