  • PrintPrint

Issue

While you install the HP software, the following fatal error message displays on the computer: 'Error 1335. The cabinet file <FILE NAME> required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package. ' This error occurs because the installer is not able to find the correct file on the CD. The error message lists the affected file name.
Choose your Windows operating system from the following options, and then follow the solutions and steps in the order presented to resolve the issue.
Try the following solutions in the order presented to resolve the issue. When one of the solutions resolves the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.
