Stardock is desktop utility software that allows you to customize the appearance and functionality of Microsoft Windows. MyColors ThemesTM
are fully functional computer themes that let you customize desktop icons, Windows start button, task bar, systems tray, wallpaper, and more.
MyColors and Windows 7 Aero can both change your desktop background; however, they are not interchangeable.
To switch from Windows 7 Aero to MyColors, follow the steps below.
- Click Start , enter mycolors , and select MyColors from the list when it becomes available.
- Under the My Themes tab, select HP Envy .
- Click Apply .

The Windows interface is now changed to the HP Envy MyColors interface.
Change background using Stardock MyColors
To change your desktop background using Stardock MyColors, follow the steps below.
- Click Start , enter mycolors , and select MyColors from the list when it becomes available.
- Select the Wallpapers tab.
- Select a wallpaper, and click Apply to change your desktop background.
Your desktop background should now be changed.
Change background with Stardock MyColors themes
MyColors also offers fully functional themes to change your background, desktop icons, and other aspects of the Windows interface. To change to a MyColors theme, follow the steps below.
- Click Start , enter mycolors , and select MyColors from the list when it becomes available.
- Select the More Themes tab.
- Click the left and right arrow buttons to choose a theme, and then click I want this! . An Internet browser will open to direct you to the MyColors web site for further instructions.
- For more themes, click View more to visit the MyColors web site.
