Disconnect the USB cable from both the product and the computer (if you connected the cable).

Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
If prompted, type your HP product number, and then click Next
. You might also need to click your model in a list of similar HP products.
Select Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
or Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
, and then click Next
To determine which version of Windows 7 you have, click the Windows icon (
), right-click Computer
, and then click Properties
, view the system type.
Click the Plus sign (
) next to Driver
Click the driver that you want to download.
NOTE:There is not a specific driver for Bluetooth, and the driver for a USB connection works for Bluetooth. HP recommends the basic
print driver, and not
the full-feature software.

. This option allows you to install the software at any time after the download completes.
, and then browse to the location on your computer where you want to save the file.
. The software downloads to your computer. Make a note of the place that you saved the file, in case you want to install it at a later time.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
When the download is complete and you are ready to install the files, click Open Folder
, and then open the downloaded file. The file name ends in .exe
If you closed the Download Complete screen, browse to the folder where you saved the .exe file, and then open the file.
Accept the default location to save the files. Click Next
, and then wait while the installer extracts the files to prepare for installation.
When the Install Wizard starts, follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
NOTE:Because the product is not connected to the computer, the installation's communication test will fail. Since you are installing the product on a Bluetooth network, skip through any warning messages.
