Getting the Latest Firmware and Product Updates

Introduction

HP regularly releases product updates, as well as new Web Services apps and new features to existing Web Services apps. Update your product to make sure that you have the latest firmware installed, and that all Web Services apps are current.

Updating the All-in-One

The following video demonstrates how to download and install the latest product updates from your printer's control panel.
NOTE:This video shows the HP Photosmart D110a. The outside of the product might not look the same as your product, but the steps are the same.

Follow these steps to update the product firmware and Web Services apps.
Important : The HP product must connect to a wireless network with an active Internet connection to receive updates. However, the product does not need to be connected to a computer.
  1. On the product control panel, touch the button ( ) next to the Setup icon ( ). The Setup menu displays.
  2. Touch the Right Arrow ( ) to select Preference , and then touch OK .
  3. Touch the Right Arrow ( ) to select Product Updates , and then touch OK .
  4. Select Yes to apply the available update.
    NOTE:Check for updates every week to make sure that you are getting the most out of your HP product.
