Introduction
There are a number of errors that may occur when the computer enters or returns from sleep, suspend, or hibernate modes. Any of the following error messages may appear:
  • "Hposol08 has caused an error in Kernal32.dll"
  • Hpohmr08 error messages
  • Errors in other tasks that begin with Hpo or Hpz that appear when entering or leaving Sleep, Suspend, or Hibernate modes
These errors occur because these modes do not close or open the HP software correctly. For best results, do not use these power saving modes when connecting an all-in-one.
Leaving all-in-one software windows open may result in an error when the computer enters or returns from one of these power saving modes. Always close any open all-in-one software windows if the computer is going to enter Standby, Hibernate, or sleep modes.
Review the information below in "Disabling Sleep, Suspend, or Hibernate mode " to learn how to disable these modes.
If these modes must be used, shut down or prevent the all-in-one software from running. Review the information in below in "Shutting down the all-in-one software ."
