Clearing the CMOS settings
CAUTION: Do not change any jumper setting while the system is running. Damage to the motherboard may result.
Description of CMOS clearing steps:
  1. Turn the computer off and unplug the power cord.
  2. Move the jumper cap from pins 2 and 3 (Default) to pins 1 and 2 (Clear CMOS). Keep the jumper cap on pins 1 and 2 for 5 seconds, then move the cap back to pins 2 and 3.
  3. Plug in the power cord and turn ON the computer.
    The BIOS returns to its default settings.
    NOTE: Press the F1 key repeatedly when the first screen appears to enter the BIOS setup screen and .
