Introduction

This document describes how to find the model number of your product. If your product also has scanning, faxing, and copying functionality, click here to learn how to find the model number on your HP Photosmart All-in-One .
There are several methods for finding the model number on your product. As described in this document, model numbers are commonly located on the body of the product.
A model number is a unique numeric or alphanumeric code used to identify a particular version of a product. For example, the same series of a product may have several different models with varying features.
The following are example model numbers that may look similar to the model number on your product:
  • HP Photosmart 1315
  • HP Photosmart 7550
  • HP Photosmart 1218xi

Method one: Locate the number on the front of the printer in the lower right corner

Find the model number on the front of the product on the lower right side.

Method two: Locate the number on the top of the printer on the lower right

Find the model number on the lower right corner of the top cover of the product.
