How do I find the model number of my HP fax product?
There are several methods for finding the model number on your product. As described in this document, model numbers are commonly located on the body of the product.
A model number is a unique numeric or alphanumeric code used to identify a particular version of a product. For example, the same series of a product may have several different models with varying features.
The following are examples of fax model numbers:
- HP 1020 Fax
- HP 925xi Fax
- HP FAX-800

Method one: Locate the number on the front of the fax in the lower center
Find the model number on the front of the product in the lower center.
Method two: Locate the number on the front of the fax in the upper left corner
Find the model number on the front of the product in the upper left corner.
Method three: Locate the number on the front of the fax in the upper right corner
Find the model number on the front of the product in the upper right corner.
Method four: Locate the number on the front of the fax in the lower right corner
Find the model number on the front of the product in the lower right corner.
