Description

The HP Print and Scan Doctor was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers.

The HP Print and Scan Doctor, HP's next generation diagnostic tool, completely replaces these three previous generation diagnostic tools:

• HP Print Diagnostic Utility

• HP Scan Diagnostic Utility

• HP Network Diagnostic Utility

All troubleshooting functionality previously available in the HP Print, Scan, and Network Diagnostic Utilities has been integrated together into one easy-to-use utility, the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Simply run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions.

Fix/Enhancement

This updated version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor adds support for Windows 8.

NOTE: The HP Print and Scan Doctor does not support Windows RT for ARM-processor based tablets or computers. Installation of additional printing software is not required. HP recommends that users utilize the print capabilities already included in Windows RT.

The HP Print and Scan Doctor completely replaces the HP Print Diagnostic Utility, the HP Scan Diagnostic Utility, and the HP Network Diagnostic Utility by packaging all functionality previously available in those utilities into one easy-to-use diagnostic and troubleshooting tool.

Installation Instructions

The HP Print and Scan Doctor does not require installation.

To use the HP Print and Scan Doctor, simply download the file and run it.

1. Click the Download button and save the file to your computer.

2. Navigate to the location where you saved the file on your computer and double-click the HPPSdr.exe filename to open and run the tool.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to use the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
