Fix/Enhancement

Upgrade Requirement:
Optional - Users should update to this version if their system is affected by one of the documented fixes or if there is a desire to utilize any of the enhanced functionality provided by this version.


Some issues that occur during high network utilization with TOE enabled have been corrected.

Some issues occurring on systems with more than 64 processor cores have been corrected.

Some issues with the behavior of interrupt moderation when RSS is enabled have been corrected.

On a ProLiant server running Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008, if a version of the HP NC-Series Broadcom 1GbE Multifunction Driver for Windows Server earlier than version 4.6.16.0 is installed and an attempt to upgrade the driver to a version later than version 4.6.16.0 is made, the following message is displayed and is written to the cpqsetup.log:

HP Virtual Bus Device installation requires a newer version. Version 4.6.16.0 is required.

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:
Download the Smart Component to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.

From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.

Click the Install button to proceed with the installation.
