HP Download and Install Assistant
Follow the instructions below to install and run HP Download and Install Assistant using the HP Support Solutions Framework.
HP browser detection did not automatically detect your browser. Select the appropriate option required by your browser for each step listed below.

Instructions
Step 1:  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'
Step 2:  If a File Download Security Warning appears, click 'Run' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted
Step 2:  Click the downward-facing arrow in the upper-right corner of the browser, then double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…'
Step 3:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 4:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…' in the upper-right corner of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted  OR  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'  OR  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.  OR  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window

Fix/Enhancement

Upgrade Requirement:
Optional - Users should update to this version if their system is affected by one of the documented fixes or if there is a desire to utilize any of the enhanced functionality provided by this version.

Installation:

Download the HP StorageWorks Tape Drivers for Windows installer. The installer can be executed by clicking on the downloaded file or invoking from command line.

         Example: C:\>cp004354.exe.

The HP StorageWorks Tape Drivers for Windows can be executed in a graphical user interface mode or silent mode. If /s or /silent command line parameter is supplied, the  HP StorageWorks Tape Drivers for Windows executes quietly without displaying graphical user interface and honors all command line parameters. In graphical user interface mode, all command line parameters are ignored.

Command Line Parameters

/h /help /? Help
/s /silent Runs without graphical user interface.
/f /force Install continues regardless of version previously installed.
/i /install Install all available drivers.
/i:[driver1.inf, driver2.inf...] Install only driver1.inf and driver2.inf.
Example: /i:hplto.inf will only install HP LTO Tape Driver.
/u /install Uninstall all available drivers.
/u:[driver1.inf, driver2.inf...] Uninstall only driver1.inf and driver2.inf.
Example: /u:hplto.inf will only uninstall HP LTO Tape Driver.
/InstallLTO Installs HP LTO Tape Driver only.
This parameter is deprecated; use /i:hplto.inf instead.
/UninstallLTO Uninstall LTO Tape Driver only.
This parameter is deprecated; use /u:hplto.inf instead.
