Description

This download includes the HP Toolbox software for your printer. The Toolbox provides status and maintenance information about your printer. It also provides access to documentation and online help tools for solving printer problems.

This download does NOT include the print driver solution for your HP printer. The print driver solution for this product is included in your Windows Vista operating system and is already on your computer.

Use these directions to guide you through the self-install process

Installation Instructions

1. Click on the Download Only button and a File Download box will appear.
2. Select Saveand a Save As box will appear.
3. Select a directory to save the file in and click Save.
4. After the file download has finished, locate the file using Windows Explorer.
5. Double-click on the file to start the software installation.
6. Follow the on-screen software installation instructions.

System requirements

Important! Please ensure that the HP printer driver for your printer is installed before you download and install the HP Toolbox software. For more information on how to install the HP print driver, do the following:
  1. Click the Software and Driver downloads link on the left.
  2. Click the Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit) link.
  3. Click the HP Printers – Installing the Printer Driver Located in Windows Vista link and follow the instruction to install the HP print driver.
