Follow the instructions below to install and run HP Download and Install Assistant using the HP Support Solutions Framework.
HP browser detection did not automatically detect your browser. Select the appropriate option required by your browser for each step listed below.

Instructions
Step 1:  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'
Step 2:  If a File Download Security Warning appears, click 'Run' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted
Step 2:  Click the downward-facing arrow in the upper-right corner of the browser, then double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…'
Step 3:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 4:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…' in the upper-right corner of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted  OR  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'  OR  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.  OR  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window

Description

This package contains the driver for the HP Wireless LAN 54g WL450, Broadcom 802.11b, Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g, Broadcom 802.11b/g, and Broadcom 802.11a/b/g adapters for the listed notebook models and operating systems.

This driver supports 802.11i/WPA2 for a/b/g and certain b/g WLAN cards, for other cards, it provides Wi-Fi protected access (WPA) support. This driver also supports lightweight extensible authentication protocol (LEAP) and other Cisco features (software supplicant required) and provides support for "125 High Speed Mode" for notebooks with a Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g adapter.

  • Adds support for Cisco Compatible Extensions Program V3.0 features.
  • 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
    2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

    NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program runs automatically. If the setup program (Setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the download directory.
