This software is the latest version of the HP PC Connectivity Kit,
(version 3.04) which is a 32 bit application that runs under Windows 95*/98, NT
4.0, and Windows 2000 on an IBM compatible PC. The software allows for drag and
drop file transfer between the HP 49G and HP 48G series calculators, has a
screen capture utility, and a flash ROM updater for the HP 49G. The software requires an IBM compatible PC running Windows 95*/98, NT 4.0, 2000, an open serial port (not USB), and 5 Mb of free disk space. note for windows 95 users: Windows 95 has a defect in some versions of the system library called comctl32.dll. The symptoms of needing an upgrade are the toolbar of the PC Connectivity Kit will look strange, and double clicking and right-mouse-buttons will not work. Upgrading of the HP 49G flash requires double clicking, so affected Windows 95 users will definitely need this newer system library in order to upgrade the flash.
