Description:

This SoftPaq creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to locally restore or upgrade the System ROM in the Compaq models with a 686Y2 Family ROM. A backup of the current System ROM will be copied onto the ROMPaq diskette during the flash process.

Enhancements:

Adds support for up to 3GB of memory. Adds support for Pentium C1 stepping microprocessors. Adds support for Celeron B1 stepping microprocessors. Updates the PXE ROM to version 4.1.08 for integrated Intel NIC.
