Follow the instructions below to install and run HP Download and Install Assistant using the HP Support Solutions Framework.
HP browser detection did not automatically detect your browser. Select the appropriate option required by your browser for each step listed below.

Instructions
Step 1:  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'
Step 2:  If a File Download Security Warning appears, click 'Run' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted
Step 2:  Click the downward-facing arrow in the upper-right corner of the browser, then double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…'
Step 3:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 4:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Double-click 'HPSupportSolutionsFramework…' in the upper-right corner of the browser.
Step 2:  If User Account Control appears, click 'Yes' to install the framework.
Step 3:  Click 'OK' to close this window and begin downloading your software.
Step 1:  Click 'Save File' when prompted  OR  Click on the security prompt which appears at the top of the browser window then click 'Download File…'  OR  Click 'Run' on the prompt at the bottom of the browser.  OR  Click 'HPSupportSolutions…msi' in the lower-left corner of the browser window

Description

This update corrects two issues: 1) Solution Center prompting for disk when launched or during a pc reboot and 2) Prevents an application error with hpqgpc01.exe when PC is shut down.

Fix/Enhancement

1) Solution Center prompting for disk when launched or during a pc reboot.
2) Prevents an application error with hpqgpc01.exe when PC is shut down.
1. Click the Download Only button.
2. When a new pop-up window appears, click on the Save button.
3. Save the file in a desired location, perhaps a user-created C:/print software/directory.
4. After saving the file, run the file or go to the directory where the file was saved in order to run it. If security warnings are displayed, they may be caused by settings in the computer, however continue to run the file.

Note: File is compressed and may take time to expand and run.

5. Follow any on-screen instructions.
6. After the installation completes, a restart prompt will appear. Please shut down and restart your system to complete the installation.

Details and specifications

This patch will not install properly if you do not have the previous software version installed.
