Description:

This package provides the HP Software Update. HP Software Update is a proactive tool that automatically updates selective HP software and drivers. This tool comes pre-installed on certian notebooks, but if it is accidently removed or lost, HP Software Update can be re-installed by using this package.

PURPOSE: Routine

Enhancements:

Provides the initial version of the HP Software Update, which was pre-installed on certian notebooks.

Fixes issue that may occur with Microsoft Windows Vista Operating Systems where the Server Busy/Switch To dialog box pops up if the user does not respond promptly to a package request.
