This package contains drivers for the supported Broadcom Wireless LAN adapters in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems. This driver supports 802.11i/WPA2 for WLAN cards that are capable of 802.11i. NOTE: This package contains Broadcom IHV Extensions that add support for Cisco Compatible Extensions. By default, this package installs the Broadcom IHV Extensions on HP Notebooks that support Cisco Compatible Extensions. This package does not install Broadcom IHV Extensions on HP Notebooks that do not support Cisco Compatible Extensions.

Enhancements:

- Provides Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver version 5.10.79.5.
- Fixes an issue where the wireless LED takes more than 20 seconds to change when resuming from Suspend or Hibernate mode if unassociated to an access point.
